Hi all,

Lots of great breakfast suggestions above.

If anyone would like to add their favourite healthy breakfast recipe to the healthy recipe discussion, you could be in with a chance of winning a month of free veg box deliveries.

Best wishes,

I eat mainly cereals, muesli or porridge, Weetabix with hot milk is a favourite, or boiled eggs and toast with herbal tea or Earl Gray. The person I care for likes eggs, although this has to be rationed because of cholesterol. On a Sunday morning we have an Ulster fry, it's a treat everyone looks forward to, with all the trimmings. I quickly set a breakfast tray in the morning, and have my breakfast early, as mine is usually only cereal, hubby gets his on a tray in bed.

i usually have tin tomatoes and mushrooms its quick and easy. my daughter has ready brek and fruit, topped with chopped nuts.

Oooh, your daughter's brekkie sounds lovely! I've just discovered ready brek - yum - and I have it with sliced banana on top, mmm. The nuts idea sounds great. I must try that!

how do you make your ginger tea anne? Liz.

No do it in the morning as dont know what I fancy till I am up.  Had chopped apple blueberries and 0% greek yogurt this morning. With ginger tea home made, I do a full flask so it last me awhile. anne
