Hi Karen. So sorry to hear that you've been going through a difficult time. One never knows what each new day will bring, as a carer, but that's where love and faith come in. You're still fortunate that you can get out and about in the course of doing your part time work, you have an outlet and you have adult interaction too. I don't know sometimes how I cope with being a fulltime carer, but there's a job to do and you just get on with it to the best of your ability. Having a teenage daughter helping with chores and some caring responsibilities helps; so does having a loving bond with the person you care for. On those really frightening days when things are really bad and you're feeling helpless, I found a tower of inner strength in having alone time to pray. In quiet meditation and reflection, there is peace beyond anything we can imagine. And the results were amazing. God is good. Hope you find some inner peace. God bless. Janet
