Hi Sam...Having only recently spotted your site I was interested to see the potential of your communication with carers and those often in distress with their task....As a Brief Therapist working dementia care, reading your and others responses, I would like to see more solution focused and responses suggesting the possibilities and options available to carers.. 

Have you considered the question..How would you know if the problem for you was a little less tiring  or distressing, what would be happening in your life?? that would be different and what would you be doing more of that you would enjoy??  and be more fulfilling?? who would or could be helping  you and the significant other...when you are doing your thing!!
